Can Project

Comp of a can model onto a backplate using Maya and Nuke.

Key Points:

  • Modelled and textured a realistic drinks can in Maya, for use in the project.

  • Used rigid body simulations and crafted realistic lighting to match reference images, rendered out to create the materials for compositing.

  • Composited these materials together with the original image to create a seamless and photoreal composite of a can interacting with a real environment in Houdini.
