Boid Snake
C++ Flock Simulation Chase Game
with 3D graphics using the NCCA graphics library
Key Points:
Researched & implemented a boid flocking system using C++ in a QT OpenGL environment using TDD to learn the basics of the modelling approach.
Extended this by coding gameplay allowing the player to control an avatar that chases these boids that have an extra behaviour to avoid the player, to test a more novel implementation.
Implemented simple collision detection to allow for gameplay.
