DeFaam | Group Project
A group project based on a shipwreck of the Fame.
Key Points:
Implemented Unreal Engine blueprints to create UI, saving, and general gameplay.
The project was set externally by the BU archaeology team who supplied 3D scans of objects.
Reduced supplied meshes to better fit a real-time context, including mesh reduction tools in Maya, and quad drawing for retopology.
Modelled extra clutter objects from scratch to fill out the gameplay area.
Experimented with simple cloth physics in Unreal Engine for boat sails, to give a more realistic image.
